Psychopathic Daze are emerging from the frigid Chicago Winter with a slew of concert dates this month. Spanning 2 states, they start things off tomorrow- Friday, April 11th at Ye Olde Town Inn in Mount Prospect, IL before heading off to Indiana for two weekends packed with show dates.

Once they cross into the Hoosier State, they will be playing Friday the 18th at Chamberfest in Kokomo, IN followed by Jerilee's Pub in Lafayette, IN on Saturday the 19th...

The following weekend they play 3 gigs in 3 nights!
Friday the 25th at Berlin Music Pub in Fort Wayne, IN; Saturday the 26th at Centerstage Bar and Grill in Kokomo, IN; and Sunday the 27th at the Beer Fountain in Indianapolis, IN!

 Psychopathic Daze are searching for a new vocalist, to replace Morahan who is leaving on good terms, so these might be the last dates you can catch this band with their current line-up!!

Need a show to go to this weekend?!? HappyHeadbanger's Independent Band of the Year, FIST TO THE SKY have 2 shows for you!

First, on Friday the 29th at the Aloha Lounge in Libertyville, see FIST TO THE SKY, along with HappyHeadbanger's I.B.O.Y. runner-up INDOLENT and She Loves Seven. Show starts at 9pm!

Then, on Sunday the 31st, FTTS travel to the south Chicago 'burbs, for a show in Steger, IL at Another Hole in the Wall, opening for Hell or Highwater (featuring former drummer/singer of Atreyu). Showtime: 6pm!!

On Friday July 29th, don't miss the biggest Chicago event to feature independent, female-fronted heavy metal bands: Dame Nation at Reggie's Rock Club! Included on the bill is DEADMANSWAKE, current independent band-of-the-year here on Heavy Metal 107! Not to be overlooked, Losing Scarlet, last year's independent band poll-winner, are also performing. Don't miss the rare opportunity to see these featured bands perform together!

Dame Nation has developed a reputation for gathering the best independent, local talent when it comes to female-fronted rock and metal bands. This year that reputation stands to grow even further, drawing a few out-of-state performers. Other bands appearing include: Avariel (from Boston, MA), The Unvoiced (from Montreal, Canada), Angelical Tears (from Oklahoma City, OK), A Sound of Thunder (from Washington D.C.), Lindz Riot of Mary and the Black Lamb (from Ontario, Canada), along with Shield of Wings, and Solarsphere (both from Chicago).
